This is an edited re-post of a favorite Mint Chocolate Protein Shake recipe – one that I make ALL.the.time. I updated images and decided it’d be good content to post while we’re on vacation. 🙂
Protein shakes are becoming one of my favorite easy breakfast or snack choices. There are what seems like endless flavor options for protein shakes. And with Shakeology, they pack a mean nutrient punch! Especially when you load them with fruit and greens alongside your protein powder.
My latest flavor combination is the perfect substitute when I’m craving something sweet. You all know how much I love sweets and ice cream in particular. The addition of frozen grapes to smoothies makes them super thick and creamy. They taste like an ice cream shake instead of something healthy for you!
Since mint chocolate is my favorite ice cream flavor, this protein shake was right up my alley. I’ve had it as a snack or breakfast every day for about a week now! Another example of why I eat the same foods all the time. Because they are damn delicious!
I trick myself into thinking I’m drinking an ice cream shake every time I have this smoothie. Any time you an have ‘ice cream’ for breakfast is a great day, don’t you think?

Shakeology is easily the best protein powder I’ve had to date. It tastes good, is full of superfood vitamins and nutrients, and blends so much better than any other powder I’ve used. You don’t need a lot of stuff in it to make it thick and creamy! Those are my favorite kinds of shakes – since they’re often used to tell my sweet tooth to chill out for a minute. 😉
