- 2 eggs
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- ⅓ cup coconut oil
- ¼ cup maple syrup
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- 1½ cup whole wheat flour
- 1½ teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup crockpot applesauce
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together whole wheat flour, baking soda, baking powder, and cinnamon.
- In a larger bowl, mix together remaining ingredients. Stir well.
- Slowly mix in dry ingredients.
- Heat the waffle iron. Once ready, scoop ½ cup of batter into the iron. Cook approximately 3-4 minutes, depending on the waffle maker and heat setting.
- Remove and let cool on a wire rack, or serve immediately with butter and maple syrup.
