Description

Today’s chia seeds bar recipe is for delicious, no bake, calorie-dense peanut butter chia granola bar that are packed full of nutrition – and have great staying power.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup old fashioned oats
  • ¼ cup chia seeds
  • ½ cup natural peanut butter
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • ¼ cup + 1 tablespoon ground oat flour
  • ¼ cup extra dark chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. In a blender, grind about ½ cup or so or old fashioned oats. This will become your oat flour you’ll use in the recipe.
  2. Add all ingredients to a large bowl. Stir to mix together evenly.
  3. Line an 8 x 8 baking pan with plastic wrap. Put mixture into the pan, and press down firmly with a piece of wax paper.
  4. Place in freezer for 30 minutes.
  5. Remove from freezer and cut into 8 bars. Store in freezer or refrigerator.
