Description

How to make puppy chow? This healthy and easy puppy chow recipe makes for a delicious snack for your sweet tooth!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 10 cups Rice Chex cereal
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • ½ cup natural peanut butter (I used Skippy)
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2.5 cups quick oats

Instructions

  1. Add cereal to a large bowl with a cover. Set aside.
  2. In a magic bullet or blender, grind oats into an oat flour.
  3. In a microwave safe bowl, microwave the chocolate chips for 30 seconds. Stir, then add the peanut butter and coconut oil. Microwave for 1–2 additional 30 second intervals until ingredients will completely mix together and melt. Stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Pour chocolate mixture onto cereal, and mix evenly to coat.
  5. Once coated, pour oat flour on top. Cover the bowl and shake to coat all the cereal with oat flour. Add additional oat flour if necessary.
