Ingredients

- 1.5 pounds ground turkey (we use Butterball 93/7) – $4.55
- 1 can of black beans, rinsed – $1.00
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs – $0.50
- 1.5 tablespoons onion powder – $0.12
- ½ teaspoon garlic salt – $0.01
- 1 egg – $0.17
- pepper
- EVOO (only for pan)
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients in a large bowl.
- Form into 7 large patties.
- In a skillet over medium heat, add a bit of EVOO. Add burgers and cook for 7 minutes on one side—press burgers down to flatten.
- Flip, and cook additional 7-9 minutes until cooked through.
- OR – you can grill them!
