WOTW + ChaLean and a new smoothie

Last night we had a happy hour for my friend Brittany’s birthday. We went to a new-to-me place called The Mason Bar, which is in Uptown. We stayed for a couple of beers and headed home around 10:00 PM, where we had a night cap while watching Modern Family. 

This is actually a Wine of the Week repeat, so it must have been a good one. 🙂
I was a wee bit tired this morning, as has been the trend this week. But I popped in ChaLean Extreme anyways, and was soon full in to Push Circuit 2.
I kept track of my weights and reps so that next time I do this circuit, I can try to increase each category.
If this is anything like Push Circuit 1, I think my legs will be feeling it tomorrow!
I’m trying to keep meals a little light today, because I’m heading to a Chili Cook-off hosted by Kyle’s company this evening. They have teams that all put on skits to promote their ‘chili brand’. It’s a super fun time, and super delicious! After that I’m heading to another birthday event for my friend Kristi. Should be a good time!
I tried something new for breakfast this morning, and created a pumpkin chocolate protein smoothie. Surprisingly delicious!
Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1/2 scoop chocolate protein
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin spice
Preparation
Blend together and enjoy!
