A couple weeks ago I was contacted by Thorny Rose to try a wine in their collection. This was something I couldn’t say no to, especially once I saw that their portfolio includes wines that I frequently drink! These include:
I’ve been enjoying some red blends lately, but the wine I chose to try first was Sauvignon Blanc. Once I received my bottle, I was excited to throw it in the mix of wines during an at-home wine night with Kyle.
The decorative label fits right in with my pinecone decor, don’t you think? 🙂
After pouring a glass of this wine, I decided this was a bottle I could definitely have more than one glass from. It was a very crisp and citrusy, which I’m quickly learning this is what I would prefer to stock my shelves with. In the tasting notes listed below, ‘mouthwatering’ is used as a description of Thorny Rose Sauvignon Blanc. A unique description for a wine, but I think it hits it right on the head!
The Sauvignon Blanc grapes are grown on the south island coasts of New Zealand, while their other wine grapes are grown in various valleys in Washington. You can check out the website for notes on their other wines, including some fun snacks and dishes to make along with your selection.
I highly recommend going to find yourself a bottle of Thorny Rose Sauvignon Blanc, which retails around $11. I will take my own advice and check the rest of the wines off my list to try! Visit this link to find a store near you.
