Whole Wheat Applesauce Waffles

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together whole wheat flour, baking powder and cinnamon.
  2. In a larger bowl, mix together remaining ingredients. Stir well.
  3. Slowly mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients.
  4. Heat the waffle iron. Once ready, grease the iron with non-stick spray then scoop 1/2 cup of batter into the iron. Cook approximately 3-4 minutes, depending on the waffle maker and heat setting.
  5. Remove and let cool on a wire rack, or serve immediately with maple syrup, ghee and your favorite fruit toppings.
