Well I planned to give an update with lots of pictures, but it turns out I don’t really have many!
After my bachelorette party and shower weekend, I had another week of squeezing in last minute data for my thesis. Then we had a jam packed weekend with Kacie and Derek’s wedding and my brother visiting town!
Kacie (center) was the bride! Heather (right) is our friend getting married in June! Kacie and I are both bridesmaids.
Marcus has a quick trip in Dallas, but we had a lot of fun. We tailgated and watched the Final Four games Saturday, then went to the Perot Museum on Sunday before having a family dinner.
The weekend after that, which was last weekend, was Heather’s bachelorette weekend here in Dallas! I actually got no pictures from that weekend, although I’m pretty sure Kacie got a few good ones I need to snag from her another time.
This weekend was the first in several weeks I’ve had to just relax. Coincidentally, I had it to recover from being sick all last week. Good timing I guess?
There won’t really be much of a meal plan for this week. Easter dinner is going to consist of a ham, mashed potatoes, and green beans. We plan to snack on left overs until we start our next trip to Indiana for a friends wedding and more wedding related festivities of our own.
After NEXT weekend, we’ll have two weekends before my graduation ceremonies and then our WEDDING. Only 34 days from today.
As far as the job front goes, I’m still searching. I have a some post-doc options I am weighing out, but nothing solid yet. We aren’t too worried about it. We’re so busy now, and we both know that something will fall in to place for me when the right one comes along!
Well, since there are probably only 4 people reading my blog today, I’m going to cut this short. Hope you all have a great Sunday, and happy Easter if you celebrate!
