So, I’m actually surprised this is the first time I’ve ever done an avocado recipe round-up. I figured with St. Patrick’s Day around the corner, a post all about my favorite green food would come at the perfect time!

Truth be told, most of my St. Patrick’s Day festivities revolve more around jello shots, hamburgers at the Greenville Avenue parade. But for the first time in 5 years, I won’t be doing any of that! For obvious reasons. πŸ™‚ I’ve got nothing against jello shots and hamburgers on a proper occasion. This year our holiday might actually revolve a little more around green food than in the past holidays. We’re going to be joining some friends at a nice little residential celebration instead of the parade this year, and I’m not quite sure which green food I’m going to tackle.

Although these recipes may or may not be best suited for a St. Patrick’s Day party, they’re a fantastic way to add some healthy fats into your week. Maybe you’ll get to feel just a little bit festive in the process! But let’s be realβ€”you should be eating avocados all year round, not just when the green food fairy calls for it!
