The following post is for WordPress users. I’m not aware of a widget for Blogger yet!
Have you been noticing these nifty ‘Click to Tweet’ boxes around the blogosphere lately?
This is an example from Cotter Crunch, but I’ve been seeing them on many other blogs as well!
This Click to Tweet feature by CoSchedule is a great way to encourage promotion of your posts on Twitter.
And, it’s super easy to use!
- Download the Click to Tweet plugin, and install on WordPress.
- Once installed, go to the Settings and enter your Twitter handle. The image below also shows the code you use to place the Click to Tweet plugin in a post.
- When writing a post, insert the indicated code in HTML where you’d like to place the Click to Tweet box.

And that’s that!
CoSchedule also offers a social media calendar to schedule posts to several different social media outlets. I did download this plugins, but deleted it right away. You get a 14 day trial period, then are asked to upgrade. The upgraded version is $10/month. For now, I prefer to use Buffer, which is free!
