A delicious salad dressing for all you Sriracha lovers! This honey sriracha vinaigrette dressing recipe is great on any salad, and can be tailored to your spice preference!

I’m pretty hit or miss on vinaigrette salad dressings. I’ve been a Ranch girl almost my whole life. Although I do love a good thousand island dressing, too. It’s really great on a cheeseburger if you didn’t already know. As a kid (and only a few short years ago), I scoffed at the balsamic and French dressing friends would keep in their fridge. Bleck!
Now, my taste buds have changed a bit. Probably for the better. While ranch is delicious—don’t get me wrong—it can get boring after a while. (Wait, did I really just say that?)
I still don’t like French dressing, but I’m pretty eager to mix it up and have built an acquired taste for some vinaigrette dressings. I can’t do anything too tangy and vinegar-y, though… People who can eat those salt and vinegar potato chips without grimacing amaze me. Seriously.
Strangely enough, I have made a vinaigrette dressing I love with the one thing in the house I NEVER eat.
SRIRACHA! (Said with some kind of Zorro like accent.)
Kyle puts sriracha on everything. Probably even his breakfast cereal. I think it’s so weird…but I know a lot of other people who do the same thing. I just.don’t.getit. Why would you put sriracha on everything you eat? Then it all tastes the same. [emoji thinking face]
While I will probably never be as big a fan of sriracha as some, I can say that I’d put this sriracha vinaigrette dressing on every salad I make until it’s gone. And then I’ll make more.
For those of you who don’t know, I’m kind of a wuss when it comes to the ‘spice scale,’ so bear with me here. You could easily add more sriracha to this salad dressing if your taste buds put you much higher on the ‘spice scale’ than mine. I also found that one tablespoon of this dressing (half of a serving size I listed above for nutritional information) was plenty for me on a salad. Although, I’ve never been one to drench my salads in dressings, so I might be a little different from others!
Isn’t that picture of salad so pretty? I know—I’m just as weird as the sriracha-drenched-food people. But if you want my favorite salad to go with this dressing lately, here is what you need!
- baby spinach salad mix
- dried cranberries
- pumpkin seeds
- Feta cheese crumbles
- ⅓ cup apple cider vinegar
- ½ cup extra virgin olive oil
- ¼ tablespoons honey
- 2 teaspoons Sriracha
- ¼ teaspoon lemon juice
- 1.5 teaspoons minced garlic
- Add all ingredients together in a magic bullet (what I used) or blender.
- Let mix for a minute or so.
- Pour into a container, and chill in the fridge for 30 minutes.
- Shake before using!
