wisco recap

Even though I was only on campus for 3 hours, I have been busy all day doing school stuff and errands. And it feels good to have most of my priorities out of the way this early on a Friday! I’ve been snacking all day long, and lunch today was kind of a snacky type meal itself. I whipped up some tuna salad this morning, mixing a can of tuna with chopped red pepper, green pepper, white onion (we are out of red, boo), carrot, a spoonful of miracle whip, salt, pepper, and dill.

Usually I eat tuna salad as an actual salad with lettuce, or stick it in a pita. Today I brought along Triscuit Thin Crisps instead.
I like these way better than regular Trisciuts. 15 crackers is 130 calories and 4.5 g of fat, so not too bad! They tasted awesome with the tuna salad.
I feel like I’ve been using the word ‘awesome’ a lot today. Can’t complain about that!

Wisco Recap

I thought I’d share with you a few of the pictures I took from my trip back home. You can see all the yummy food I had back home on my WIAW post this week. I didn’t get a ton, and most of them are from graduation. But here ya go!
The first couple are from the cookout we had last Sunday. We opened up a box of goods my sister Brittany sent us. She is currently in South Korea teaching English, so she wanted to send us a few things she picked up on her trip to Thailand last winter!
The bottom left picture (ordering to the right) is me, my aunt Barb, my sister Jacci, and my mom De Ann. Brittany got us all some cover ups for the beach. She sent Marcus a bunch of Korean candy goods, which I didn’t get a picture of. I did however, get a picture of the freaky dried octopus! Below is a picture of Jacci and I grabbing a drink with my mom and Barb after the cookout.
In my defense, she is wearing heels. But yes, I am the oldest, but the shortest of all my siblings!
The following pictures are from Marcus’s high school graduation. He will be attending UW LaCrosse next year, and will major in chemistry! I’m so proud of him to be following in my nerdy scientific footsteps. He’s a smart kid, he’s gonna do great!
